Gouverneur Chamber of Commerce
53 Herm Towne Road Gouverneur, NY 13642
Gouverneur "The One and Only"
Gouverneur is the only town of this name in the entire United States. The Greater Gouverneur Area Chamber of Commerce is a community organization whose members work to promote economic vitality and prosperity in the Gouverneur area. Our community offers a business-friendly environment, an excellent hospital, and a small-town atmosphere.
Gouverneur is home to large companies like Cives and Kinney Drugs, but included in our membership, are many other wonderful large and small businesses. The Gouverneur and St. Lawrence County Fair draws hundreds from all over the North Country, as does our Flag Day parade and other events. Our picturesque village park has recently undergone extensive upgrades and redesign. Soon, it will be ready to host events like the Farmer's Market and the Gouverneur Breast & Ovarian Cancer Walk.
The Chamber also sponsors the Community Garage Sales, the Pumpkin Festival, and the Gouverneur Garden Club Plant Sale. We look forward to hosting an annual Flag Day Parade and Gouverneur's Annual Christmas parade in the Village Park each year.

The park is bordered by churches, the Gouverneur Library, the Gouverneur Museum and Main Street shops. The giant "LifeSavers®" in the Village Park is always a conversation starter. The story behind its arrival in the Village Park is an interesting one.

Our new Village Park gazebo is still coming into focus and already it is getting rave reviews. Once landscaping and benches are installed, it will be a beautiful space.
