"Light Up Our Village & Town" Holiday Decoration Fund 2021

Our “Light Up Our Village and Town” project included all of us, businesses, residents, and civic organizations. The Chamber reached out to everyone to help fund this project. Every dollar was appreciated!

Sponsors of a business district light pole, with a new snowflake for $1,000 were honored with a sponsorship plaque that was put on the pole with the sponsor’s name.

 

You know the famous quote “It takes a village to raise a child.” Our project put a smile on every child’s face in 2021 and for many years to come, with the help of our community. Every donation helped us go beyond our original goal and really light up the holidays!

Special recognition goes to the Gouverneur Village DPW for their cooperation and efforts. They were instrumental, along with our new decorations, in making this holiday season the most beautiful we've seen in years.
