In addition to wonderful food, provided by the Elks Club and music by Mary Ann Meola, there were many, many door prizes, provided by Chamber members.

The Business Women's Employee of the Year award was presented to Barb Hadfield. The Business Women also earned the Service Club Attendance award for the evening.

Guest speaker Mick Lawler, from St. Lawrence Zinc Company, briefed the audience about the recent start up of the Balmat mine.

The Greater Gouverneur Area Chamber of Commerce was proud to present their Award of Merit to Cives Steel Company- Northern Division. Ted Totten accepted the award and offered the audience a multimedia presentation which provided an brief overview of Cives Steel Company and its recent projects in New York and Phildelphia, PA.
